I waive and release any rights and claims for damages which I may have against the organizers and any other connected with this event, their representatives, successors and assigns for any injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever suffered by mean as a result of taking part in the Downtown Maryville Christmas Parade and any related activities. By submitting this registration, you acknowledge and accept the waiver. Thank you for signing up for the Downtown Christmas Parade! We will be in touch soon!Additional Parade Information: - Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. - If you are unable to pre-register, please contact a volunteer to register you. - The Downtown Maryville Christmas Parade will begin at Franklin Street and Main, following South Main to the Pocket Park located at the corner of 3rd and Main Street. - Line-up will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Franklin Street, on the north and east sides of Franklin Park. - Entries are placed on a first-come, first-served basis. - Any entry that includes livestock will be placed at the end of the parade. - Please avoid having Santa, Mrs. Claus, or the Grinch as part of your entry to avoid confusing children. - Please refrain from using loud music, horns, or other noisemakers as part of your entry. - Do not throw treats of any kind from floats or other entries. - You may hand out candy or treats by walking next to the crowd and handing items directly to people. - All pets should be kept on a leash. - Please post the name of your business or organization on your entry as there will be no announcing or participants.
