Other Please explain if you have other needs. WEEKLY MARKET RULES & REQUIREMENTS Items sold must be homegrown or homemade. No vulgar or offensive content to be displayed. This is a family-friendly environment. Political campaigning is not allowed in the market. There will be a $5 vendor fee for each regular Market day that you participate, paid upon set up to a Downtown Maryville Market representative. Space is limited. Please notify Market by contacting Downtown Maryville Market representative Autumn Quimby at 660.868.0923 or email downtownmaryvillemarket@gmail.com prior to event day to ensure reserved space. Setup will start at 6:30 a.m. There must be a Market representative on site to guide you to your space. You will be instructed each week to your designated booth space. You will not have the same space each week. You must be set up and ready to sell no later than 8:00 a.m. and will not be allowed to leave any earlier than 12:00 noon if your vehicle is parked within the market area. If you plan to leave early, you will need to park elsewhere, walk your supplies in/out and leave whenever you wish. If you arrive later than 8:00 a.m., your vehicle will not be permitted within the Market and you will need to walk your items in to set up. (Exceptions may be made for inclement weather.) A tent/canopy is required. For safety reasons, your canopy must be weighted down. You must have your own setup. Tables/chairs will not be provided for you. To keep all patrons safe, food samples must be provided as single serving only. Please do not allow patrons to help themselves. You are responsible for cleaning your booth, supplies, and any garbage gathered during the event. Please do NOT dispose of trash in the dumpster in the parking lot. Take the trash with you. You are responsible for knowing and following state and local laws pertaining to the items you wish to sell (i.e. eggs, dog treats, canned items, etc). Disrespect of any kind toward other vendors and/or event organizers will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave. SPECIAL EVENT REQUIREMENTS Larger events, such as Spring into Fun, Fall into Fun, and Yuletide Magic will have a $20 nonrefundable vendor fee, to be paid ahead of time. All pertinent requirements above. INCLEMENT WEATHER We will do our best to have the Market each weekend through September. With the threat of severe weather, we do have the option of a delayed start or cancellation. Please understand that these decisions are not made lightly and will be made to err on the side of safety. Cancellations will be announced on Facebook to the “Downtown Maryville Market” group the “Maryville (MO) Market VENDORS ONLY” group by 5:30 a.m. Please check these groups or contact Autumn Quimby prior to leaving home. RELEASE OF LIABILITY * By filling in my name below, I agree that Downtown Maryville Market organizers, the City of Maryville, its owners and/or employees will not be held responsible for any accident, injury, or personal property damage and/or theft occurring as a vendor of the Market. I agree that I am solely responsible for my belongings and products, including set-up and take-down. I agree that I will not provide goods that may knowingly cause injury or harm to my customers. I agree that I will maintain a respectful relationship with my customers, other vendors, and event organizers. I agree that non-compliance with event rules may result in my dismissal from future events. Thank you!
